Nathan (Khalil) Buckner is a native from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and currently works as an Artist Manager and Audio Engineer in Washington, DC. Music originally caught his attention in high school. A local summer program led by middle school teacher, Sean Allen, taught him the fundamentals of recording vocals and the process of composing music. Once learned, Nathan began creating beats and recording friends and neighbors using his new skills.

In 2014, Nathan launched Khalil Films, a multimedia company specializing in music videos and live events within the entertainment industry. His passion now lies in discovering new artists and igniting innovation and creativity through their music. He believes music should inspire strong emotions and captivate listeners, pulling them into the story behind the music.
